Throughout the years, I’d purposely chosen to veer away from having a personal online presence, despite working in tech.
Simple reason is, I find the filtered nature of online self-publishing to be insanely misleading, whether intentionally or not. A picture captures only a millisecond of one’s existence. Likewise, a list of achievements doesn’t necessarily equate to zero failures.
Whilst I’ll always be a believer in working hard in silence, it’s clear that a digital presence will soon become an unavoidable necessity. And so, here we have it. My (rather late) digital me.
